Good Evening!

Peace, Joy and Love to all in 2026

We long for your Healing

Lord, God of hosts.
we long for your healing touch.
Renew us in body, mind and spirit
give us your peace in our whole being:
Calm the storm
in our minds and hearts.
Calm the storm
in every nation.
We place all our trust in you.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Reflect on today

Prayerfulness is deeply a part of you: in body, mind and spirit.

Your Prayerfulness can be: a quiet moment, a meditation, a thanksgiving or a time for calling on the Lord for help and guidance, and praying for your needs and the needs of others.

Calmness, quietness and peace.
“…..in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.” Isaiah 30:15

Prayerfulness.com hopes to support you in your own Prayerfulness and in your daily prayer and reflection.

Use no words, or just one word or a phrase; or read or recite a set of prayers

Start each day with:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven
hallowd be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.

Thoughts on Your Prayer Ministry

There are many ways to minister to others in your church or community, to give our time and service to others following the example of our Lord (Jn 13:15). Prayer is a ministry we all can undertake, both as a daily spiritual exercise and as a deep expression of love.

No need to sign up, or register: pray for those in need of our prayers, for the recently deceased and their families; for the Church, the world and your family and neighbours; and especially offer a prayer of praise and thanksgiving to our God, who is Love.

Through our baptism and the grace of the Holy Spirit we are members of the Mystical Body of Christ. Christ is our Head and Mediator. In this Community of Prayer we pray for each other, and we pray to the saints. The saints in turn pray for us. Thank God for the abundant blessing that so many are prayed for, and so many pray for you.

We are blessed with a host of special devotions to follow in our prayer life: to the Blessed Trinity, to Our Lord, to Our Lady, to a favourite saint, maybe a special Novena, maybe a deep devotion to the Blessed Sacrament. As we pray we can include all those in need, and “all the faithful departed”.

As you set aside time for prayer, remember to pray for yourself, and especially to give thanks for all the blessing in your life. Your devotion to the Lord brings profound goodness to you, and will also enrich those you meet and pray for each day. Pray for the Lord’s presence and peace.

Quiet Reflection:

Be still. Take a moment to reflect and find quietness.

Recall how the Lord loves you, and is present with you; inviting you to prayer, say:

  • Our Father.
  • I love, I bless you, I praise you.
  • Recall times you needed to be better. Recall the blessing you have in your life, say:

  • I love you, Jesus.
  • I love, I bless you, I praise you.
  • Bring into your thoughts loved ones, family, friends; anyone who needs your kindness, forgiveness, love, say:

  • Come, Holy Spirit.
  • I love, I bless you, I praise you.
  • Offer yourself, your life, your prayer……
