Daily Prayer

Morning Prayer

Prayerfulness is deeply a part of you: in body, mind and spirit.

———————————————————

Start with:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

  • Be still. Take a moment to reflect and find quietness.
  • Recall how the Lord loves you, and is present with you; inviting you to prayer. Recall times you needed to be better. Recall the blessings you have in your life. Bring into your thoughts loved ones, family, friends; anyone who needs your kindness, forgiveness, love.
  • Offer yourself, your life, your prayer……

I am sorry
Lord, you know I am not perfect.
I am so sorry for the times I have not be your loving child,
and offended your goodness.
I am sorry for the times I have upset or hurt others.
Forgive me Lord. Help me to become perfect
– perfect in loving you and perfect in
loving all those around me.
I ask you this in the name of Jesus, our Lord. Amen.

To you I dedicate my day and my life
My Lord, I give to you
every moment of my day;
every moment of my life.
I am filled with such joy knowing you watch ever me,
blessing every beat of my heart and every breath I take.
Give me the privilege to serve you this day, and
please accept my dedication to you of all that I am.
I ask you this in the name of Jesus, our Lord. Amen.

Prayer of Love
Heavenly Father, I thank you for your great love,
that you have revealed to me in your Son, Jesus,
and have poured into my heart by the Holy Spirit.
Be close to me Father, and help me.
I ask you this in the name of Jesus, our Lord. Amen.

Prayers of Intercession
God is tremendous and all God’s works are wonderful, so we pray with hope and trust.

  • That people who search for the truth may find a deep and lasting faith in God, discovering the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as the source of all life and love. Lord, hear us.
  • For those who suffer in mind or body. Through the Holy Spirit my they experience healing and peace. Lord, hear us.
  • For all our loved ones who have died. Living in the presence of God may they rejoice and give glory and praise for ever more. Lord, hear us.

Our Father (The Lord’s Prayer) See (Matthew 6:9-13; Luke 11:2-4)

As children of the loving Father we say:

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed by thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

Lord you know me
Lord, you see me.
Lord, you call me
to be with you.
When I am lost
and cannot find my way,
Lord, please come and find me.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

May the Lord bless us, and keep us from all evil, and bring us to everlasting life. Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
